We started raising funds to
help pay rent!
What began as an act of compassion quickly grew into a movement. We started raising funds to
help pay rent for unemployed workers, assembling care packages for families in need, and
delivering lunches to essential workers who continued showing up on job sites despite the risks.
Beyond financial help, we offered something just as vital, emotional support, connection, and a
reminder that no one in our construction family had to face hardship alone.
From those early efforts, Construction Cares was officially formed, a nonprofit dedicated to
supporting the people behind the projects. Today, we continue to build on that legacy of
compassion, ensuring that every tradesperson, subcontractor, and construction family has access
to the resources, relationships, and respect they deserve.
